Current and Future Goals:

As of now, our main desire is to build our player base and we welcome anyone interested in nearly any aspect of gameplay. We’re looking for open, friendly, and polite people to join our ranks and have fun!

We are also looking for driven people to take up the mantle of officer for the various game aspects such as raiding and PvP game types, as well as the more mundane – but ever-important – guild management aspects. (Subject to change as officer positions are filled.)

Our long-term goals are to create raiding and PvP RBG and Arena teams, as well as explore other avenues of the game such as dungeon grinds, quest grinds, pet battles, and random quirky events.

Conduct Rules:

  • There will be absolutely no derogatory, demeaning, or harassing remarks toward other guild members. This is grounds for immediate expulsion from Drakenfire, subject to review by the officer group. There is a fine line between heated discussion about gameplay and being nasty, so tread carefully!
  • Poaching of members to/from Drakenfire to/from another guild is grounds for immediate removal from the roster. Guild leaders hope for a certain amount of loyalty from their members, and the aforementioned poaching shows a certain lack of loyalty to people we view as friends.
  • Not logging on within a month’s period without prior notification of a member of the officer group will result in removal from the roster (this includes alts). If notification is given it will be placed within the character’s “officer note” section of the roster.
  • There are two types of calendar event commitments: Sign-up and tentative. Signing up for an event means that you are EXPECTED to be there, and failure to show up without prior notification to the event organizer will result in a demotion to “Fireteam” with a note placed in the character’s “officer’s note” section of the roster. Upon the second offense, the character will be removed from the roster. Joining an event as tentative has no effect on rank, as the character is not expected to show and is only allowed to join the event at the discretion of the event organizer.
  • The Guild Leader has final word on any infraction and may overturn any decision made by the officer group.

Guild Ranks:

Guild Leader: The Guild Leader is the final word on any discrepancies within the guild and has full authority to reverse any decisions made by the officer group.

Bank Manager: The Bank Manager is in charge of overseeing funds and repair usage. They also monitor distribution of items and purchases/liquidates items for the guild in a way that takes advantage of economic fluctuations and reports the results to the officer group. The bank manager has full authority to demote and/or remove players from the roster who do not follow guild bank regulations.

High Constable: High Constables oversee daily guild matters of any sort including, but not limited to any matters that lower ranked officers are involved with. They are in charge of monitoring any violations of all guild policies and have full authority to demote/remove players from the roster.

Duke: Duke is by far the most robust title in the guild and has several ancillary positions associated with it. There can and will be some crossover between positions, but this is intentional as it helps to spread the burden between several people. The ancillary positions will be noted in the character’s “officer’s note” section of the roster using the acronyms in brackets next to the position.

    • Raid Leader (RL) – The raid leader is in charge of organizing raids which includes knowing the fights, mechanics, and checking for minimal appropriate gear, enchantments, gems, and reforges. They must be aware of what classes and specs are needed to accomplish the raid, what buffs to use in appropriate situations, and above all must confident, resilient, patient, and show an aptitude for leading. This role can be quite stressful, so it is important to keep calm and address problems within the raid in a constructive but forceful manner to achieve the completion of the raid.
    • Field Commander (FC) – The field commander role is very similar to the raid leader role, but it applies to player versus player aspects of the game such as rated battle grounds, arenas, world PvP events, etc.
    • Loot Master (LM) – The loot master is in charge of keeping track of and enforcing the rules of whatever loot distribution system we decide to use. They assign point values to items, explain how the system works to other members, direct members to appropriate tracking addons, and gather feedback on how to improve the current system.
    • Communications Officer (CO) – The coms officer is in charge of making sure important guild information such as events, guild policy changes, scheduling changes, promotions, guild-firsts, multi-guild alliances, etc. are delivered to members via in-game, website, facebook, or any other means they have at their disposal.
    • Recruitment Supervisor (RS) – The recruitment supervisor is in charge of finding quality and compatible players to join the guild via in-game recruiting as well as out of game looking-for-guild forums at various websites. They are also responsible for reviewing applications, interviewing recruits (if need be), and tracking their 14 day trial period. They should be honest, believe 100% in the ability of the guild to advance to a robust and friendly community, and be able to not only tout on the guild’s strengths, but the pitfalls we may have as well and how new recruits can assist in correcting these short failings.
    • Event Manager (EM) – The event manager is in charge of scheduling and tracking not only raid and PvP events, but other guild events as well, such as guild meetings, officer’s meetings, and other special events. They are the person to whom you report characters who do not attend an event that they signed up for. They are the only sub-rank permitted to create events but not be present for them (otherwise assigning the event organizer position to the person who requested the creation of the event). They should work closely with the coms officer to distribute information.
    • Morale Consulate (MC) – The morale consulate may have the most difficult job in the guild. Their responsibility is to reduce guild drama as much as possible. They should be diplomatic, charismatic, and able to empathize with both sides of a dispute. They should be able to recognize when to interject to keep a silly/petty argument from escalating to an all-out battle. They are the liaison who makes sure to get problems aired out and assists people to see others’ points of view.
    • Pet Battle Master (PBM) – Since the introduction of the pet battle system, to some it has become a game all its own, and a viable excuse to pay the subscription fee! Therefore, the pet battle master is in charge of assisting members on tactics and advancement, as well as knowledge pertaining to securing pets from exotic locales. The PBM is the only position that can be acquired directly through winning the guild-sanctioned Pet Battle Tournament which will be hosted once every six months.

Warlords: Warlords are active raid and PvP team members, including auxiliary/rotational team members. They are expected to show up on time and properly outfitted for their appropriate event (i.e. proper gear, gems, enchants, potions, food buffs, reagents, etc.). If they are not able to attend they MUST let their raid/PvP leader know beforehand or face demotion. If the reason is deemed an emergency situation by the leaders the demotion may be revoked.

Jr. Warlords: Intern to an officer's position. Jr. Warlords have applied to a specific officer's position and are under a trial period to determine whether or not they are a good fit to that position. It will be the Dukes and Warlords' job to monitor their progress and a High Constable's decision as to whether or not to fully promote the intern.

Levies: Guild members with standard privileges who have shown no interest in becoming an officer. An officer is considered to be anyone part of a raid/PvP group, or other position that handles guild affairs.

Conscription: Any character below the level of 40. If you become 40+ you will be made a "Levies." If this doesn't happen let an officer know. Conscription players may not have alts in the guild and may not apply for an officer’s position.

Alts: "Conscription" may not have alts in the guild. "Levies" and above may have any number of alts in the guild. If any main character is absent for more than 30 days without prior notification to an officer, it will be removed from the roster. In the event of an Officer being absent for more than 30 days, he next highest level alt will then take the place of the main and placed at the "Levies" position, and is then subject to the aformentioned rule.

Fireteam: New recruits with a 14 day trial period who have no bank privileges. Also used as a punitive rank for guild charter violations.

Bank Rules:

The following rules apply to the use of the guild bank and are subject to change without prior notice. Your usage of the Guild Bank will be seen as your acceptance to the Terms of Use. Guild Bank deposits and withdrawals are monitored on a daily basis.

All items or monies deposited in the Guild Bank become the property of the guild and will be regarded as communal property. By making a deposit you are surrendering all claims to the deposited property.

All members have withdrawal privileges for items or cash based on access as provided by the officer group.

Use of the Guild Bank is at all times to be regarded as a privilege and not a right. Access to the Guild Bank is set by the officer group and can be restricted or denied in the event of abuse.

Item Deposits:

Please do not deposit the following items into the guild bank:

      • Green armor/weapons under level 30.
      • Bags under eight (8) slots.
      • Vendor trash/grey items.
      • Food items that provide no stat buff.

Item Withdraws:

Members may use the Guild Bank to exchange materials; however, since all deposits are regarded as communal, other members have equal withdrawal rights to the deposited material. The officer group WILL NOT arbitrate disputes over this type of usage.

Members may withdraw items for their own use only. Items are to be withdrawn on a "can use now" basis and must be withdrawn by the character that will be using the item.

They MAY NOT remove crafting items that the character does not have the appropriate skill to use said items.

They MAY NOT take out items to give to other non-guild members.

They MAY NOT resell items deposited in the guild bank or list them for sale in the Auction House.

Inappropriate withdrawals will be construed as theft and the culprit will face instant demotion to “Fireteam” with a note placed in that character’s “officer’s note” section in the roster or expulsion from the guild.

Cash Withdraws and Repairs:

Members are allotted a small stipend they may withdraw daily based on rank and set forth by the officer group. Guild repairs will be enabled when doing guild group content such as raids or PvP groups, etc. Requests to activate for a scheduled event need to be sent to Drakenflyxyz via in-game mail.
